This was our first trip to Lake Glory CG. We were very impressed with how large the sites were. The view of the lake was nice. There is not alot to do at the CG but the park is awesome for kids. The staff was very friendly. Depending on how you come into the park, the roads are very tight. There is a bus that runs to and from the park. The camp store is pretty small. If you are going to Knoebel's this is a great park to stay at.

First time at this CG. We were pleased with all of the activities for kids. The staff were great at accommodating us, and getting us a full hookup after a cancellation. The sites are kinda small and close, but they are shaded and were easy to get into. We had full hookup with a concrete patio pad. The pool was nice, although when they say heated it means barely heated. The price was a little high, and I don't like when CG's charge you for every person. This is a family experience yet they charged me a surcharge per adult and child. The staff was very nice. One night we ordered pizza and they delivered it to our site. They have a nice little restaurant with decent prices. The one negative was that you share water and cable with the site next to you. Basically there is 1 water water connection per every two sites. This was a pain because the water connection was on our entrance side and everytime we went to walk through the woods behind us someone tripped on cable or water lines. This was a pain because we were along a tree line that had a path to the activities behind us. We watch several other people trip and fall down on our cable line. There is a a lot of cool things to do outside of the CG. Penn State is very close, Bellefonte is a neat little town and Penn's Cave was awesome. We definitely enjoyed ourselves here. We would definitely stay here again.

Well I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon and post our feelings. We had booked a site at this campground for Memorial day weekend. We all know this is one of the most difficult times to find a spot at the nicer facilities. I spoke to the owners a few months earlier at an RV show and they assured us there new water park would be finished. Less than two weeks prior to Memeorial day weekend, we received a letter from the CG advising the water park would not be complete. We had liked this CG in the past so we thought they would offer to drop the rates, seeing you are mainly paying so much for the water park, and we would still spend the weekend. After speaking to the office, they only offered to give us a complete refund or give us a $100 credit for our next visit. Why would I pay $90 a night for a standard CG? Why would I take a credit and let them hold onto my money? But as we all know they felt like they had us because it is next to impossible to find a CG site 1 week prior to a holiday weekend. We decided to roll the dice and take our complete refund. Well as luck would have it, after over 40 phone calls we found a great site at a very nice CG for half the cost, and by the way the pool was heated and open. It is a shame that owner's have to be this way. What ever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE! I really hope these posts get and the owners realize withouth us they don't exist. If you don't like your job, find another one. Please share all of these posts with your fellow campers!

We were a little depressed after reading the reviews. This is the first KOA we have been that didn't have any activities for a weekend. The cg was pretty full so I am not sure why nothing was planned. The only activity for kids was a ghost walk which was cancelled. No hayrides, etc. They did have a small park for kids and a really nice pet playground which looked new. The basketball was nothing more than a hoop and a small gravel area. Shuffleboard was nice, minigolf was not to nice, lifesize checkers/chess was cool. Of course it rained and with nothing to due indoors we just sat and watched the rain. The CG staff was friendly at all times. The CG is mostly wooded which we do like. The roads around the CG are kinda tight. The rates seemed a little high for what we were getting. The pool was closed, looked nice but small. CG store was nice and had a good stock. One other issued I didn't like was they would not give us a CG site number until we arrived. Each year we stay in Gettysburg, unfortunately we we probably will not return as we have had better times at other CG's here.

We stayed here to try the other water front CG at Lake Raystown. The park was nice and clean. We stayed in the Birch section. This part of the park was more wooded and rustic looking. There were a few water front sites. We had a lakeview site which was nice waking up looking at the boat every morning. The area we were in didn't seem in the best conditions for mouring a boat though. The CG is pretty big. The premium water front sites looked nice with concrete pads and a large lot to the water. Looked nice if you were with a group and wanted to sit by the water. We went on their boat, The Proud Mary, for a couple of cruises. Pretty fun. The Prime Rib dinner was outstanding. This CG does have alot of boaters and people partying. It never got real loud. The guards were very nice. The general store was a nice size. There is no pool as stated already. If love to look at water and boats or have a boat this is a nice CG. Not too far away is the US Army Corps of Engineers campground, which is just as good if not better for the campers that do not need a pool or a ton of activites. It also costs alot less.

This is an awesome laid back CG. We came here to go boating on the 28 mile Lake Raystown. The sites were nice sizes and very clean. The CG has electric at most RV sites and also allows you to have an RV and a Tent on each site. I would have gave a high rating but there is not water or sewer. They do have a fill station and dump station at the beginnig of the CG. There a lot of walking trails, beaches, free boat launch, free boat mooring, etc. We like it so much we are going back again this month.

We stayed here for one night to test our new unit out. It was a pretty bad experience. First the campground is like a maze. The gentleman at the front desk gave me directions. Well the directions were totally wrong. It was hard to follow the streets because all of the one way streets are not marked with street signs. The directions he gave me were sending me down one way streets the wrong way. I ended up in the back of the campground. Turned around and tried again. This time I dropped someone off to look for the site. Well I had to move because there was traffic backed up, so I turned down a road and ended up getting lost. Thankfully a camper helped me get my 36' unit around to my site the proper way (not the way the CG told me to go). We pulled in and wouldn't you know the site was very unlevel. I had my tongue laying on my piece of wood and still couldn't level it. And when my trailer broke free from my hitch the trailer slid down hill until it loaded the wheel chocks. I now have the locks so this don't happen again. Then when we were leaving the site was to tight to make a turn out of it, I had to make my way out around through another empty site. The pools were nice, and I loved the shade but $10 for 1 water slide, yeah right. The campground office was so far away I am thankful I brought a bicycle with me. This is far from what I call a premiere campground. I have been to 10 CGs this year and this was the worst one of them all. I kind of knew this going in since I read the reviews on this site.

The park is a very nice and is a well maintained park. Check in was pretty easy seeing we arrived on a Thursday. The CG offer both river front and Lakeside sites. We had a lakeside site. It was very nice. The sites there were large stone and not messy. The lake was nice although they charged you for catch and release fishing. My kids love the activities and the pool. The only downside, as with any large CG, was there seemed to always be a lot of traffic, whether it was vehicles or the golf carts were everywhere. When ever you went for a walk it seemed as though you were constantly having to move out of the way. Overall it was a great experience for both us and the kids. We will camp here again.

First time at this campground. Being a Holiday weekend, the staff seemed prepared by having a check in station setup along the entrance. We were escorted to our site which was in the new section. The site was new, with newly planted trees and grass. The CG seemed pretty clean. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. We broke an awning strap and one of the workers wives sewed it for us. We also booked a kayak trip through the CG. Definitely fun, just don't forget suntan lotion and the 5 1/2 hour trip was too long for us. All in all this was a very nice campground. The only personal issue was there is no shade in most of the sites. But this is personal preference. There were some shade sites in what appeared to be the older section. The owner Denny was extremely nice and accommodating for all of our requests. The rest of the employees were fun to talk with and nice. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first trip here. After reading the reviews we weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived we were met and welcomed by staff on the entrance road. They fully instructed us as to where to park and register. Once registered we were escorted by staff to our site where he assisted me in backing in my unit. The campground seemed very clean. We only used one restroom and it also was very clean. Our children enjoyed the activities. There are a lot of shaded sites at this campground. The staff was very friendly. We were able to purchase a firewood at the pretty large store. Basketball, horseshoes, shuffle board, fishing were all free. The only issues we had was the employees working in the store are seasonal personnel. Being this early in the season, they were still learning and it took time to purchase items. They were very friendly though. Also the fishing pond it a good walk and my pregnant wife was unable to go fishing with us due to the distance and hills. Overall we had a great time with no problems.

This is the first time we were here. We had a water front campsite and it was beautiful. The owners were very friendly and went out of there way for us. The campground looked very clean. We didn't use the bathrooms much, but they looked clean the time we used them. The setting is nice and the campground was very easy to find. We didn't use the activities that much because we went with a group. We will definitely camp here again.
